How I teach and why it works

My philosophy

I believe learning happens first through energy, connection and emotional alignment — and then through words. In my classes, students don't just study French… they experience it. I create a space where each learner feels seen, safe, confident and exactly where they need to be. Because when a student feels good, learning accelerates naturally.

That's backed by how languages actually stick: through consistent, real-life use, not just study. Through conversation, games and practical activities, students quickly move from understanding French to using it naturally.

We stay in touch during the week through messages and voice notes, so practice continues beyond the lesson itself. And our sessions aren't confined to a desk, either. We can go to the grocery store together, or anywhere else that's interesting.

What makes it unique

Energy-based teaching

I bring a calm, positive, encouraging energy into every session. Students mirror that energy and begin to speak more freely, release fear, and trust themselves.

Confidence first, grammar second

Instead of focusing on mistakes, I focus on encouragement, flow and expression. Confidence builds first. Accuracy follows.

Real conversation from day one

From the very first session, students are speaking French. No waiting, no perfection required, just progress through interaction.

Play-based learning

Games, movement, and real-life scenarios: ordering at a restaurant, cultural games, storytelling, role-playing. This creates natural memory anchors, making the language stick effortlessly.

Learning through movement

My approach also blends gentle, Pilates-inspired movement into lessons, pairing speech with simple, intentional motion to build a deeper mind-body connection. It's not about intensity, it's about awareness: small, guided movements that support focus, memory, and make French something you live, not just study.

Whole person learning

My teaching supports emotional confidence, social connection, creativity and authentic self-expression. Research shows that students who feel emotionally engaged and supported develop stronger communication skills and motivation.

When you join a session, you don't feel like you're in a classroom. You feel like you're in France, in conversation, in flow. And most importantly… you feel capable.

The experience

My goal

My aim is to help you feel confident speaking French, experience joy while learning, and connect deeply with yourself and others.

Because language is not just something we learn… it is something we feel.
