Je viens de terminer ce dessin. These are my friends Cary and Gina who live in Colorado.

In English we say I just finished this drawing. In French just is translated with the verb venir de. So to say I just,,,,, we conjugate the verb venir in the present tense followed by de :

je viens de (I just), tu viens de (you just), il vient de (he just), elle vient de (she just), on vient de ( we just or one just), nous venons de (we just), vous venez de (you just), ils viennent de (they just)

After any preposition, the verb is in the infinitive form (before conjugated)

I just finished ..... je viens de terminer

you just left ...... tu viens de partir

il vient de rentrer ..... he just got back home

elle vient de sortir ...... she just went out

will you continue with on, nous, vous et ils. you can send me your examples by sending me an email: à bientôt
